Silver screen still shapes society: Sanjay Mishra

Renowned actor Sanjay Mishra said that while the film stories have changed, there is no better medium than the silver screen to shape society. He expressed these views at a talk at Sherwood College during its annual function here on Wednesday. “I always portray simplicity in my films, just like in my real life,” he said, addressing the students.
He further said that he is now acting in Bengali films as well. “If given the opportunity, I will not miss acting in Kumaoni films as well,” he added. Regarding Nainital, he said that the beauty of this hill station draws him here.He also spoke of Sherwood College’s distinct identity. “It enjoys a special identity in India and abroad, and the school management must maintain its distinctive identity in years to come,” he added. Among those present at the annual function was the principal of the institution, Amandeep Sandhu. .
