The CEO stated that the number of polling stations in the State has now increased to 12,543, compared to the previous 11,733. He added that 100 Form VI are being provided to each BLO so that citizens who, for whatever reason, were unable to enroll their names in the voter list can have another opportunity.

He said that between July 14 and August 13, the voters can file claims and objections. The CEO stated that a maximum of five objections can be submitted by a single person for deletion of a name from the voter list.  He stated that the notice period and the disposal of claims and objections will be from July 14 to September 11, 2026. The final voter list will be published on September 15.
