The employees and teachers of the education department working in other offices on deputation and attachment will be sent back to their parent office. The Education minister Dhan Singh Rawat has sought details from all the chief education officers about such employees and teachers. The CEOs have been asked to submit the list within a time period of one week to the director general.
Rawat has said that the list should mention the name, designation, original place of posting, the present place of posting, duration of attachment and the reason for attachment.
He said that the objective of the State government is to make the education system transparent, strong and result oriented and for this it is essential that the availability of teachers is ensured in all the schools of the State. It is also necessary to analyse the unnecessary deployment of employees in other offices.
Rawat said that on one hand, the department receives complaints of shortage of teachers in schools and on the other large number of teachers and employees are attached in other offices and departments.
Rawat added that a comprehensive review of the employees who are working on attachment for a period of more than three years will be made and they will be sent back to their original place of posting. He however added that physically impaired employees and those whose attachment is done in special circumstances will be given relaxation.
