Srivastava directs officials to speed up work at night
In order to complete the redevelopment of Paltan Bazaar under the smart city project on time, the chief executive officer (CEO) of Dehradun Smart City Limited (DSCL) directed the officials to speed up the construction work during the nights.
The CEO Ashish Kumar Srivastava went on a field inspection of the ongoing construction work in Paltan Bazaar on Sunday along with various officials of departments including Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited (UPCL), Public Works Department (PWD) and Jal Sansthan besides the contractors associated with the project. Srivastava informed that the works like sewerage, drains and multi utility duct are currently under construction in the Paltan Bazaar. He said that DSCL has finished the construction of about 900 metres long drain on both sides of the road in the area so far besides completing the construction of multi utility duct of 445 metres.
The officials told the CEO that the work of repairing the roads has been commenced by the workers and will be completed soon along with other remaining works in Paltan Bazaar. Srivastava directed the officials and contractors to speed up the construction work during the nights so that public does not face problems due to pending construction work.
