A meeting was held at the secretariat on Friday on the upcoming authority for the Char Dham Yatra. While the additional chief secretary Anand Vardhan chaired it several stakeholders representing the priest community, hoteliers and panda panchayat related to the yatra participated. Matters related to facilities for the pilgrims, including connectivity, registration, parking, cleanliness and washroom, came up and the stakeholders put their suggestions in writing. Among the senior administrative and police officers present at the meeting were the ADGP A P Angshuman, secretary Sachin Kurve and Garhwal commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey.
