The tenure of State Information Commissioner Yogesh Bhatt ended on Friday. In the last three years he delivered many important judgments. He disposed of 1,480 appeals and complaints during his term and imposed a penalty of Rs 11.81 lakhs. He presided over 3,050 hearings during his term and left no pendency. Bhatt said that during his tenure he made efforts to ensure that a positive environment regarding Right to Information (RTI) is created.
