Students in Dehradun excelled in the Class XII examinations of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), with results announced on Wednesday. At the Asian School, Vanisha Goyal from the humanities stream achieved the highest score in Class XII, earning 97.2 per cent followed by Sara Chaudhary (Humanities) and Shaurya Yadav (Science), both scoring 97 per cent, while Nandini Bansal (Commerce) secured 96.8 per cent. The school had 298 students appear for the exams, achieving a 100 per cent pass rate. Specifically, 15 students scored 95 per cent and above, 42 students scored between 90 per cent and 94.8 per cent, 102 students scored between 80 per cent and 89.8 per cent and 100 students scored between 70 per cent and 79.8 per cent in the examination. The principal and management congratulated the students for their excellent performance in the CBSE Board Examinations 2026.
In Kasiga School, in the Class XII board examinations leading the humanities stream, Vanessa Paul emerged as the school topper with an impressive score of 96.4 per cent. In the commerce stream, Aarushi Trichal secured the top position with 96 per cent, while Vraj Pambhar topped the science stream with 91.6 per cent. The school recorded a remarkable overall pass percentage of 100 per cent across all streams—science, commerce and humanities. The management of Kasiga School extended their heartfelt congratulations to all students and wished them success in their future academic and professional endeavours.
At Delhi Public School, Rudra Pratap Singh topped the Science stream with 98.6 per cent, securing the highest marks in the school. In Humanities, Shreshtha Singh scored an outstanding 98.4 per cent, while Yuvan Bansal made the school proud in Commerce with 96.2 per cent marks. The school achieved a 100 per cent pass rate, with students earning distinctions and excellent marks across all streams.
More than 20 students scored above 95 per cent and over 52 students secured more than 90 per cent.
