Uttarakhand School Education minister, Dhan Singh Rawat has directed the officials to release pending salaries of teachers and staff in the government-aided schools, after payments were delayed for nearly three months.
Taking a strict view of the delay, Rawat pulled up the department officials and asked them to clear all dues at the earliest. He also warned against such lapses in the future and instructed that all procedural formalities be completed quickly to ensure timely disbursal.
He said that the government is committed to the welfare of teachers and employees and stressed that no one should face financial hardship due to administrative delays.
The members of the Ashaskiya Madhyamik Shikshak Sangh welcomed the move and urged the government to ensure that salaries of aided school staff are released on time similar to the government school employees.
