Uttarakhand High Court’s Additional Judge, Justice Subhash Upadhyay on Monday took oath of office and secrecy as a permanent judge of the High Court. The Chief Justice Manoj Kumar Gupta administered the oath to him in a programme held in the Chief Justice Courtroom. The registrar general conducted the programme by reading the notification regarding the appointment issued from Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Among the dignitaries present were Justice Manoj Kumar Tiwari, Justice Ravindra Maithani, Justice Rakesh Thapliyal, Justice Pankaj Purohit, Justice Alok Mehra and Justice Siddharth Sah along with the advocate general, the High Court Bar Association president D C S Rawat and general secretary Saurabh Adhikari, aside from a large number of advocates, judicial, administrative and police officers.
