Surgical unit of critical care medicine ICU starts at Himalayan hospital

The president of Swami Rama Himalayan University, Dr Vijay Dhasmana inaugurated a fully equipped 14-bed surgical unit of critical care medicine (CCM) ICU at Himalayan hospital on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the new facility is poised to enhance the Himalayan hospital’s capacity to provide advanced critical care services. He also toured the newly launched ICU, where he emphasized the importance of patient and attendant counseling, during critical care and the prudent use of advanced medical technology and equipment. He reiterated the Himalayan Hospital commitment to providing best in class quality care.

Dr Vijendra Chauhan, Dr Ashok Deorari, Dr Hem Chandra, Dr Rajesh Maheshwari and Brigadier R S Saini attended the programme as special guests. The specialists from various departments, the members of the nursing and engineering teams at Himalayan hospital attended the programme.
