Following the instructions of the district magistrate Nitika Khandelwal, a joint team of the district administration, police and Drug Control Administration conducted a surprise inspection of eight chemist shops in New Tehri’s Baurari on Tuesday.
During the inspection, the arrangement of separate racks for expired medicines, presence of pharmacists, purchase invoices of medicines kept on the counter, records related to sale of Schedule H and H1 medicines and records related to consumption of medicines notified in Schedule X and NDPS Act were thoroughly examined.
