Sherwood College emerged as the overall champion, winning 26 medals at the All India Gymnastics Championships held in Dehradun. Ten schools from across the country participated in the competition.
The competition was held at Maharana Pratap Sports College, Dehradun, from August 22 and 23. Thirteen athletes from the school participated in it. With competitions being held in several stages, Sherwood College was declared the overall champions after winning the most of the medals.
The principal, Sherwood College, Amandeep Sandhu congratulated the students and coaches for this achievement. Earlier this season, the school’s students won the overall trophy at a national inter-school competition, followed by the football trophy.
