Shri Venkateshwara University began an orientation programme for students of the 2025-26 academic session on its campus on Tuesday. The programme will continue till August 12. Greeting the students on the occasion, the chairman of the Venkateshwara Group of Institutes Sudhir Giri exhorted them to make their best effort while also connecting to the service of the nation.
He said that the National Education Policy-2020 is among the best in the world as it enables youths to gain employment in all sectors. However, the students need to upgrade themselves accordingly in order to ensure the benefits, he said. The Venkateshwara group has prepared thousands of skilled youths in nursing, management, pharmacy, engineering, law, liberal arts, agriculture, applied sciences and other subjects. It is a matter of pride that these professional youths are now working in top institutions across the world, he said.
Pro chancellor Rajeev Tyagi said that in the past decade, Indian youths have performed very well in spheres like nursing, management, pharmacy, engineering, liberal arts, paramedical and medical profession. The university is committed to providing a successful and secure career to the undergraduate and postgraduate students, he added.
