SVU organises seminar on ‘Developed India through Educated India’

 A seminar was organised on the topic ‘Educated India a harbinger of a Developed India’ to mark the National Education Day-2025 at Shri Venkateshwara University on Tuesday.  Notably, the birth anniversary of India’s first Education Minister and freedom fighter, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad is observed as the National Education Day.  The speakers spoke volume of his contribution to reforming the country’s education system, post-independence.  

Addressing the gathering, the chairman of the Venkateshwara group of institutions, Sudhir Giri said that   education is not just about studies. “But it is the biggest medium for national progress through bringing light in the lives of its people,” he added.  

Speaking in the same vein, the pro-chancellor of the university, Rajeev Tyagi said that education should not be looked upon as a basis of individual development but the fundamental basis of national progress and global peace.  “The vision of a developed India will remain incomplete unless one and all become educationally empowered,” he added.  

The renowned litterateur and educationist, Madhu Chaturvedi said in her address that
the vision of a developed India could only be realised through an educated India. The noted litterateur, poet and educationist from Bareilly, Rahul Awasthi said that education, devoid of the values, traditions and patriotism, is meaningless.
