THDC India Limited organised a State level painting competition on energy conservation at its corporate office in Rishikesh under the aegis of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power. The competition was organised for the school students of Uttarakhand in two groups- one for students of classes V, VI and VII and another group comprising students of classes VIII, IX and X.
Forest and Technical Education minister Subodh Uniyal was the chief guest at the event. The themes of the competition were ‘We are Pro-Planet People’ and ‘Circular Economy- Reuse, Reduce and Recycle’. The paintings were evaluated by the jury members and winners were awarded by the chief guest during the event.
