The Asian School celebrated its 22nd annual prize-giving ceremony with the regional officer of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Dehradun, Manoj Kumar Gupta as the chief guest. A total of 706 awards were presented to deserving students during the event.
The ceremony recognised excellence across various categories. The HRT Award honoured 75 students for regularity and exemplary conduct, while 126 students received the Teacher’s Award for securing 75 per cent and above in three subjects. The Principal’s Award was given to 279 students who achieved 80 per cent and above and 201 students earned the Governor’s Award for scoring 90 per cent and above. Additionally, 20 students were recognised for perfect attendance and five students received awards for outstanding story writing, according to officials.
Gupta praised the students for their accomplishments. The director-principal Anant Vijay Dutt Thapliyal spoke about the power of education, urging students to think independently and pursue their aspirations with courage and determination.
