The Asian School hosted its annual Aashirvachan and Deepotsav ceremonies on the school campus. The organisers said that Aashirvachan marks the annual custom of showering blessings on Class 10 students preparing for their Board examinations while Deepotsav symbolises truth, wisdom, strength and righteousness. “They mark both a farewell to the graduating Class 12 students and the beginning of a new journey,” said the principal of the school, Ruchi Pradhan Datta.
The principal and the school’s senior faculty showered their blessings upon the outgoing batch of Class 12 (Session 2025–26).
In her address, the principal exhorted the students to face challenges with courage, confidence and discipline and also shared valuable tips for effective examination preparation.
