A training programme with an aim to facilitate the overall development of the students began at the DAV PG College under the NSE Gaurav Yojana of the State government on Monday. The programme will continue till August 8. Speaking on the occasion, the convener of the college’s entrepreneurship and innovation committee VB Chaurasia emphasised the significance of such training programmes in preparing students for future self-employment or employment opportunities by enhancing their skills in banking, finance, securities and the insurance sector. Apart from this, Nripendra Sharma, who is the main trainer for the session, was formally welcomed by principal Sunil Kumar. The principal expressed his hope that such programmes will contribute to the students’ career advancement. He also encouraged the students to actively participate in and benefit from the training programme. A large number of students participated and registered for the training programme.
