Bharatiya Janata Party State president Mahendra Bhatt said that the Congress’ stance on the Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) paper leak case is unfortunate and irresponsible.
Addressing the media at the party headquarters on Tuesday, he said that the opposition is trying to create a particular atmosphere around the issue but facts show that only three questions came out and no answers reached inside the examination hall. He added that police acted immediately, arrested several accused and the entire conspiracy will be exposed in a few days. He said that those involved will face strict punishment under the anti-cheating law.
Bhatt claimed that attempts were made to malign the examination system but the State government responded quickly. He said that strict action will ensure such acts are not repeated. He added that the party condemns the way the opposition is presenting the issue. Besides this, he informed that BJP will also hold a State workshop in Dehradun on Wednesday where National General Secretary (Organisation) BL Santosh, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and other senior leaders will participate.
The workshop will focus on strengthening the party’s structure at the booth level and preparing for Mission 2027. Also, party workers will mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday as a disaster relief fortnight and the workshop will review how to make these efforts more effective, he added.
