UCO Bank: Q2 net rises 2.8 per cent at Rs 619.76 Cr

The UCO Bank reported a 2.82 per cent year-on-year increase in its net profit to about Rs 620 crore for the second quarter of the current fiscal as operating profit grew over 12 per cent y-o-y during the period. Declaring the results at a media conference, the UCO Bank’s managing director and CEO, Ashwani Kumar said that the lender’s operating profit stood at Rs 1,613.20 crore for Q2FY26 against Rs1,431.60 crore for Q2FY25.
“There are two major contributors to our profitability in the second quarter of this financial year. Net Interest Income grew more than 10 per cent and fee based-income also increased,” Kumar said, adding that NIM remains at 2.8-2.9 per cent for this fiscal and the total deposits has increased 10.85 per cent y-o-y.
