U’khand Gramin Bank contributes to support reconstruction in disaster-affected areas

The Uttarakhand Gramin Bank has donated Rs 35,49,371 to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to assist with reconstruction efforts for those affected by the recent disaster in Uttarakhand on Saturday. Representatives of the bank met with chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to present a cheque for the said amount, which will provide crucial support for disaster-affected individuals.
According to the officials, apart from the bank, on the same day, the management of St Joseph’s Academy in Dehradun also met with the CM and donated Rs 10 lakh to the said Relief Fund for disaster reconstruction work.
Expressing gratitude to the bank representatives, the CM stated that this contribution would play a vital role in the relief and reconstruction efforts for those impacted by the disaster. He commended the support from all sectors of society, emphasising that it will significantly help victims in their time of need. He also expressed appreciation to the school management, noting that their contribution will be beneficial in assisting those affected and in the overall reconstruction efforts. He reaffirmed that the State government stands with every individual impacted by the disaster.
