U’khand to withdraw cases on Agniveer protesters

In his Independence Day speech the CM made 13 announcements for the people of the State. He announced that a mineral processing portal will be opened to stop black-marketing of building materials in the State. He said that a CM Jaccha Baccha Suraksha Yojana will soon start in which pregnant women will be airlifted to the nearest hospital for delivery during adverse conditions. Free textbooks in both Hindi and English will be provided to the students of classes I to XII. He said that the cases against youngsters involved in the protest against Agniveer scheme will be taken back if they are studying in schools and colleges and are preparing for competitive examinations.
To encourage the widows and single women to set up employment opportunities in their houses a CM Single women self employment scheme will be launched. He announced that one city in both divisions will be developed as a model mountainous city. The number of Anganwadi centres and mobile schools will be increased and a working plan will be prepared to give a historic look to Haripur located in Vikas Nagar in Dehradun. A national ST cultural competition will be organised in the State. The CM said that unity malls will be set to encourage the cottage industry and self employment in the State.
