Ukraine conflict- authorities release helpline numbers for stranded Uttarakhandis

The Dehradun district administration has issued helpline numbers to compile the details of the people belonging to the district stranded in Ukraine amid the war between Russia and Ukraine. The additional district magistrate (ADM) KK Mishra informed that several citizens of the state reside in Ukraine for various purposes such as education and business among others and considering the current strained political situation there, the administration has initiated to gather the information of such citizens for better coordination for the evacuation efforts with higher authorities. He said that people whose family members are stuck in Ukraine can contact the district disaster control room at the toll free numbers 0135 2726066 and 10352721077 with important details of the stranded citizen like name, district name, address in Ukraine, mobile number, e-mail address and passport number. Such people can also reach to the authorities through contact number 07534826066 and emergency number 112 and can also mail the information at [email protected]
