UMSSB starts process to recruit 180 ANMs in Health department

The State government has started the process of recruitment to 180 posts of ANMs in the State Health department. On the requisition of the department, the Uttarakhand Medical Services Selection Board has sought online applications from the eligible candidates. The department at present has 26 vacant posts of ANMs in Almora, 14 each in Bageshwar, Rudraprayag and Haridwar, 20 each in Chamoli and Nainital, three in Champawat, six in Dehradun, 15 each in Tehri and Pithoragarh, 10 in Udham Singh Nagar and eight in Uttarkashi district.
Out of 180 posts, 31 are reserved for scheduled castes, two for scheduled tribes, ten for OBC and 12 for economically weaker sections.
The Health minister Dhan Singh Rawat that the health services of the State will get further strengthened by induction of 180 ANMs.
