Union MoS Tamta visits Sridev Suman University

The Union minister of State Ajay Tamta visited the Sridev Suman Uttarakhand University on Thursday. The vice chancellor of the university NK Joshi welcomed the minister in the campus by presenting him a souvenir.
He informed that the governor lieutenant general (retd) Gurmit Singh has recently launched “Pragyanam’ the AI based Chabot of the university.
The Chatbot is capable of providing quick, accurate and context-based answers to inquiries from seekers on topics related to the Indian knowledge system. It was developed based on research conducted by the University under the ‘One University-One Research’ initiative on the Indian knowledge tradition and on content presented at national and international conferences. He said that the Chatbot covers subjects such as the Vedas, Upanishads, Puranas, ancient Indian mathematics, Natyashastra, music, Ayurveda, philosophy, and Indian science. The VC also informed Tamta about other initiatives of the university and presented a coffee table book to him.
The minister appreciated the development works, research activity and innovations undertaken by the university. He expressed confidence that the university will set up new dimensions in education, research and technology and develop into a platform for the youngsters.
The registrar Dinesh Chandra and other officers of the university were present on the occasion.
