In latest news from Uttarakhand, the weightlifting and bodybuilding team of Uttarakhand Power Sports Group performed well in the 45th All India Electricity Sports Board Body Building and Power Lifting Competition organised by Madhya Pradesh Electricity Board under the aegis of All India Electricity Sports Control Board at Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh.
Sharing information, the State sports committee member Pawan Rana said that led by the manager Sanjay Vijetra and team coach Vijayant Nair, the players of Uttarakhand had won the competition with their best performance thus far in this two-day national competition with pan-India participation. “Raman Patel of Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited won the gold medal in the bodybuilding competition. Also, Narendra Kashyap, Priyam Tiwari and Vikas Sharma performed brilliantly,” he said and added that this marked the best achievement of Uttarakhand Power Sports Group in any individual competition organised by All India Power Sports Control Board since the formation of the State.
Managing director of Uttarakhand Jal Viduit Nigam Limited (UJVNL) Sandeep Singhal expressed happiness over the achievement of Uttarakhand Power Sports Group.
