UPES powers work-integrated learning at Samsung Heavy Industries India

UPES has entered into a strategic partnership with Samsung Heavy Industries India Private Limited (SHI-I) to strengthen industry-aligned learning through its flagship Work-Integrated Learning for Leadership (WILL) initiative. The collaboration, formalised through a memorandum of understanding, will enable SHI-I employees to access structured higher education and skill development programmes designed for working professionals.

Under this partnership, UPES, through WILL, will offer a range of online degree and certification programmes across domains such as power management, oil and gas, logistics and supply chain, infrastructure management, AI/ML, data science and cyber security, UPES officials said.

Hailing the development, the vice-chancellor, UPES, Sunil Raisaid, “The future of learning lies in how seamlessly it integrates with the workplace. This partnership with Samsung Heavy Industries India is a strong step towards enabling continuous capability building and creating a workforce that is future ready.”

Echoing him, the managing director, Samsung Heavy Industries India, Ryan Park said, “Our collaboration with UPES enables our workforce to access structured, high-quality education while continuing to contribute to business outcomes.”
