US Nagar co-operative bank election concludes

Election of Udham Singh Nagar District Co-operative Bank concluded on Friday with the elections for the president and the vice-president. The BJP-supported candidate, Mamta Mehrotra was declared elected for the post of the president while Narendra Singh was declared elected for the post of the vice-president by the returning officer Vidya Singh Somnal.
Among the representatives sent by the bank to other cooperative institutions were Prakash Chandra Arya, Geeta Rawat, Jeevanti Bora and Dayanand Tiwari who were declared elected as bank representatives for the Uttarakhand State Co-operative Bank, Haldwani, and Kiran Mehta and Vandeep Kaur were declared elected as bank representatives for the State Co-operative Union, Dehradun.
On this occasion, the newly elected president, Mehrotra emphasised her commitment to making every effort to lead the bank on the path of progress.
