Uttarakhand–Brandenburg JDI Stakeholders’ Meeting held

The first Stakeholders’ Meeting under the Uttarakhand–Brandenburg Joint Declaration of Intent (JDI) was held at the Secretariat here on Wednesday to strengthen academic, scientific and institutional collaboration between the Government of Uttarakhand and the State of Brandenburg, Germany.
The meeting was chaired by the principal secretary, Technical Education, Uttarakhand, Ranjit Kumar Sinha. Among the dignitaries present were the vice- chancellor, Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University (VMSBUTU) Tripta Thakur, Axel Bronstert, University of Potsdam, Brandenburg, Germany and dean, Sponsored Research & Industrial Consultancy, IIT Roorkee, Vivek K Malik.
VMSBUTU and the University of Potsdam are the implementing institutions for the collaboration, while IIT Roorkee is the knowledge partner.
