Uttarakhand CM Rawat to be discharged soon from AIIMS, New Delhi
He was found infected with Covid-19 on December 18, was shifted to AIIMS on Monday
Chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, who is currently undergoing treatment at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi could soon get discharged from the hospital. The physician of the CM, Dr N S Bisht said on Wednesday that the CM’s health is steadily improving. He said that the results of all the tests conducted on the CM are normal. Dr Bisht said that the CM would soon be discharged from the hospital.
Rawat was admitted to the AIIMS, New Delhi on Monday after he developed fever on the tenth day of getting infected with Covid-19. He was initially admitted in Government Doon Medical College (GDMC) hospital where his CT indicated mild infection in the lungs. On the advice of doctors, he was shifted to AIIMS, New Delhi for further check up and expert advice.
CM Rawat along with his wife and daughter was found to be positive with Covid-19 on December 18 after which he was in home isolation. He developed fever on December 27 after which he was admitted in GDMC initially from where he was shifted to AIIMS, New Delhi.
