Patients were made aware of Hepatitis-a group of infectious diseases known as Hepatitis A, B, C, D and E- on World Hepatitis Day at the Government BD Pandey District Hospital, Nainital. A senior physician, Dr Mahiman Singh Dugtal said that the day is observed globally on a particular day to raise collective awareness about the liver-related ailments. He spoke of the causes, symptoms and preventions and advised the patients and others who had gathered to take care of their health by taking precautions.
Among those present were the PMS, Dr Tarun Kumar Tamta; Dr Mamta Pangati; Abhishek Gupta and the matron, Reshma Chauhan.
