Doon girl appointed nursing officer in Indian army

Aditi Gaur has been recently appointed as a lieutenant military nursing officer in the Indian Army. Talking to The Pioneer, Gaur expressed her happiness at being appointed to a position through which she can serve the nation. She attributed this achievement to a dream shared by both her and her parents.

Gaur said that she completed her BSc from the government nursing college Haldwani in 2023 and spent six months studying to prepare for the role of a nursing officer in the Indian army. She added that in January 2024, she attempted the exam and cleared it in the first attempt. She was also successful in the interview and medical test, achieving success among 1,400 candidates.

She expressed gratitude to her parents, who have always encouraged her to work hard in every situation. Additionally, she assured that she will give her utmost effort in her position and work diligently for her country.
