VMSBUTU hosts workshop on future-ready education

In alignment with the evolving global and societal needs to redefine the education system, Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun organised a one-day workshop on the National Education Policy–2020 (NEP-2020). The workshop aimed to create awareness and strengthen a comprehensive and practical understanding of NEP-2020 among academicians, policymakers and faculty members from various institutions. A total of 87 persons participated.
The Education minister Dhan Singh Rawat along with the vice-chancellor Tripta Thakur and director, IIT, Roorkee, K K Pant.
In her address, the VC emphasised that NEP-2020 is a transformative initiative aimed at connecting foundational education with a global perspective.
Prof Pant shared insights on modern technical education, advocating innovation in teaching methodologies and the adoption of the Flipped Teaching Approach to enhance classroom engagement.
