In latest news from Uttarakhand, a retaining wall of the Water Fun Park at Lachchhiwala in Doiwala caved in when a large number of tourists were swimming in the pool to beat the blistering heat. Notably, the forest department had built the Water Park inside the Nature Park to facilitate the tourists enjoy water fun in the swimming pool.
No tourist was hurt in the incident, though it triggered panic among them. Some of them raised question on the quality of the ingredients used in building the pool and demanded action from the authority concerned.
