The dry and warm weather has continued in Uttarakhand with mountainous regions like Mukteshwar registering a minimum temperature higher than the minimum temperature in the Terai, in Dehradun on Saturday. The weather is likely to remain similar on Sunday with the State Meteorological Centre forecasting dry weather likely to prevail across the State today. The provisional State capital Dehradun is forecast to witness a mainly clear to partly cloudy sky with the likelihood of mist/fog occuring during morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be about 22 degrees Celsius and eight degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun today.
The maximum and minimum temperatures on Saturday were 26.4 degrees Celsius and 7.8 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 20.5 degrees Celsius and eight degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 22.1 degrees Celsius and 8.9 degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 21 degrees Celsius and 9.6 degrees Celsius in New Tehri. The maximum and minimum temperatures in all these locations were at least one to maximum 10 degrees above normal on Saturday.
