The wife of the arrested accused in the Vikasnagar assault case involving two Kashmiri brothers has filed a complaint at Vikasnagar police station on Saturday against the youths, alleging they had misbehaved with her. She further stated in the complaint that while she was buying goods from a shop, the youths had made lewd remarks and assaulted her.
Earlier, on January 28, two Kashmiri siblings who sell shawls had been allegedly abused and then thrashed, resulting in their sustaining injuries to the head and shoulder. After registering a complaint, police had arrested the accused Sanjay Yadav.
Asked about the new complaint lodged by his wife, police said that they would investigate first and further action would be taken after the investigation is over.
