The police have sent a wife and husband to the women’s helpline for counseling after they approached the police accusing each other of loose behaviour. According to sources, the woman suspected her husband and she made an ID on Facebook in another name and began communicating with her husband. Her husband in turn thought she was flirting with other men. When both husband and wife accused each other of infidelity, the police sent the matter to the women’s helpline.
The woman and man in Roorkee became friends while in school together and later had an affair. The duo got married about a year ago. After some time the woman suspected the character of the husband.The woman started gathering information about him and learnt that he was in touch with many women. The woman created a fake Facebook ID and after befriending her husband on social media began interactions online. It is alleged that the husband recently beat her. After this the woman reached Civil Lines police station with her complaint. The police asked the husband who said that his wife was in touch with other men on social media. The woman said that she had created the Facebook account to learn the truth about her husband interacting with other women on social media. The couple was sent by the police to women’s helpline.
