A man died after being run over by a truck in a tragic road accident near Transport Nagar Chowk in the Subhash Nagar area of Dehradun on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Karma (56), a resident of Tibetan Colony.
According to police, the accident occurred when a truck allegedly hit and ran over the victim. Upon receiving information about the incident, police and emergency response teams rushed to the spot and initiated rescue and investigation efforts.
The body was taken into custody and sent for post-mortem examination. Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident and are taking further action in the matter.
