Rachna Singh from Jiyapota village in Kankhal area, has cleared the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (PCS) examination and selected for the post of the sub-divisional education officer. The elated villagers said that she had been successful in all three stages: the preliminary exam, the main exam, and the interview, in her very first attempt. They further said that her success would inspire young villagers.
This aside, Kunal Singh, from the same village, has excelled in the JEE Advanced exam, securing an all-India rank of 518 in the SC category. He prepared for the JEE Main and JEE Advanced exams while pursuing his 12th grade studies. His family members and villagers looked happy and said that his success would inspire the youngsters in the village.
