Following a two-day conference of the Uttarakhand Parivartan Party, Prabhat Dhyani was unanimously elected as the president, while Naresh Naudiyal was chosen as the principal general secretary. During the conference, Kuldeep Madhwal, Narayan Ram, and J P Baroni were entrusted with the responsibility of the vice- presidents while Dinesh Upadhyay, Anandi Verma and Aninur Rahman were elected as general secretaries.
Addressing the party workers after his election, Dhyani said that the party would be strengthened further at the grassroots and a campaign would be launched to highlight the failures of the BJP government. He also urged the party workers to strengthen the organisation in every village.
