To facilitate admissions to undergraduate courses, a total of 3,815 seats have been reserved at DAV PG College this year. Informing about this, the media in-charge and professor at DAV PG College, Prashant Singh said that the registration link for admission to the first year of BA, BSc and BCom programmes has been activated on the Samarth Portal, effective from July 19.
This year, only those students who have taken the CUET-UG 2025 exam and have recently received their results from the National Testing Agency (NTA) are eligible for admission. These students can register based on the subjects they selected during the examination. The registration period on the Samarth Portal will run from July 19 to 27, he said.
He further informed that out of the total 3,815 seats available at DAV PG College, the distribution is -1,475 seats reserved for the BA programme, 1,200 for BCom and 500 seats for the BSc programme in the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics group. Additionally, 430 seats are reserved for the Chemistry, Botany and Zoology group (BSc programme), while 210 seats are allocated for the Physics, Mathematics and Statistics group (BSc programme). After the registration period, the college will release a merit list based on the applications received via the Samarth portal.
Singh also said that a recent meeting was held at HNB Garhwal Central University which was chaired by vice chancellor of the university, Shriprakash Singh, where it was decided that if any seats remain vacant in their affiliated colleges for UG and PG courses, those seats will be filled based on the merit list. In the future, any vacant seats in these courses at DAV PG College will be filled using the merit list, he said.
