5 jawans from U’khand martyred in Jammu’s Kathua
CM Dhami vows vengeance

In latest news from Uttarakhand, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed profound grief and anguish over five jawans- all hailing from the State- getting martyred in terror attack in restive Jammu and Kashmir. While condoling the death, he said that the State government is solidly standing by the bereaved families in this hour of grief.
Notably, five jawans fell to the terror bullets and grenades in the Kathua sector of Jammu as the terrorists ambushed the army vehicle they were in. The five slain jawans are –Naib Subedar Anand Singh Rawat from Rudraprayag, Havildar Kamal Singh from Pauri, Naib Vinod Singh from Tehri Garhwal, Rifleman Anuj Negi from Pauri and Adarsh Negi from Tehri Garhwal.
Paying glowing tribute to the slain soldiers in an emotionally charged statement, CM said that they have joined the procession of the martyrs from this State who consider martyrdom for the unity of the motherland the supreme task life can offer. Their blood would not be allowed to go in vain, Dhami further said and added that these demons of death and destruction would have the pay the price for their abominable terror acts.
