A total of 77 students of BTech, MBA, BBA, BCA, BHM, DHM and BSc from GRD Institute of Management and Technology, Dehradun, have secured jobs in renowned multinational companies. Institute officials said that Devslane, Prodesk IT, Collabora Technologies, Investors Clinic, Hyatt Regency, Solitaire Infosystems Pvt Ltd, Pullman Novotel Aerocity, MPS, Quess Corp Ltd, Ramada, J-Town Productions, Asroot Consulting Labs Pvt Ltd and other companies selected students through written tests, group discussions and interviews.
Institute chairman Inderjeet Singh said that this success is the result of the teachers’ hard work and the students’ proper guidance. He emphasised along with education, self-confidence and proper direction are also essential in today’s world. The institute’s goal is to enable every student to fulfill their dreams. Along with academics, special attention is also paid to personality development and career guidance, ensuring students can find good opportunities immediately after graduation. He congratulated all the selected students, stating that this is the result of their dedication and hard work. He also assured them that even better opportunities will be provided in the future.
Institute director general Pankaj Chaudhary stated that the campus placement process for final-year students will continue. Approximately 67 more multinational companies are expected to visit the institute soon for campus placement selection. Cent per cent of the institute’s aspiring students are expected to find jobs before completing their courses, according to their qualifications. He stated that the institute’s Training and Placement Cell prepares students year-round.
