A tigress pounced upon a Gypsy carrying tourists on Sitabani Marg under Koshi range of Ramnagar forest division. However, the tigress did not attempt to get into the vehicle. The forest department is on alert mode after this incident. It happened at around 1.30 pm when the tourist gypsy was on jungle safari through Sitabani zone. The tourists saw the tigress on the grassland. The gypsy stopped. At this time the tigress suddenly grew aggressive and pounced upon the gypsy. However, the tigress did not attack the tourists and went back into the forest.
