The State chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attended the funeral of the cabinet minister Chandan Ram Dass. The cremation was held at Sarayu ghat in Bageshwar. Among others present at the funeral were the cabinet ministers Subodh Uniyal, Saurabh Bahuguna and Rekha Arya, the BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt and former governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari. Notably, a three-day state mourning was declared in the state on the death of the cabinet minister.
