Lucky draws for April-May 2023 conducted under ‘Bill Laao, Inaam Paao’ scheme

The State finance minister Prem Chand Agarwal has conducted the sixth and seventh lucky draws for April-May 2023 at the State Secretariat as part of the scheme ‘Bill Laao, Inaam Paao’ the main objective of which is to make the consumers aware of collecting bills for every purchase. So far under this scheme, five lucky draws have been held. It is learnt that 44,402 bills on purchases from the registered traders have been uploaded from April 1 to May 31, 2023. It is further learnt that under this scheme, 37,613 consumers have been registered and the number of bills uploaded is 1,40,646. By way of prizes, 500 mobile phones, 500 smart watches and 500 earphones are given as first, second and third prizes. Another interesting feature of this scheme is that it is being conducted electronically sans human intervention.
