Sanjay Orthopaedic, Spine and Maternity Centre based in Jakhan, Dehradun has received FOGSI recognition certification, said obstetrician and gynaecologist associated with the centre Dr Sujatha Sanjay on Wednesday.
Notably, FOGSI (Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India) is a professional society which periodically assesses the quality of work of hospitals and their improvement aside from ensuring that the private facilities adhere to the quality care standards mandated by the World Health Organisation. She further said that her centre remains dedicated to providing quality care at all stages of a woman’s life span.
Speaking of the centre having received FOGSI recognition certification, the director of the facility and Padma Shri recipient orthopaedic surgeon Dr B K S Sanjay said that the accreditation certification is awarded only to those facilities which are providing the optimal level of care based on rigorous training and constant evaluation of clinical standards.
