In latest news from Uttarakhand, the Haridwar district magistrate Dhiraj Singh Garbyal directed the officers of the National Highway Authority of India, PWD and Haridwar Municipal Corporation to see to it that the roads are cleared of encroachments to ensure better traffic management. He stressed on removing encroachments along the national highways and make sure that these encroachers do not appear again after removal.
DM said that the Kanwar Yatra this year should be better managed than the yatra last year.
