Students of several schools under the Haridwar Corporation limit took oath for cleanliness and conducted cleanliness drive under Swachhata Hi Seva 2024 on Saturday. The organisers of the programme said that the schools had hosted these on the instruction of the commissioner, Municipal Corporation Haridwar Varun Chaudhary. They further said that the theme of the drive was Swabhaav Swachhata Sanskar Swachhata.
The schools which participated included Jwalapur Inter College; Government Higher Secondary School, Kharkhari; Government Girls Inter College Kankhal; Anandmayi Seva Sadan, Mahila Inter College Haridwar; Diksha Rising Stars Public School Haridwar and MD Public School Jagjeettpur.
Among those present at the programmes in schools was the chief sanitation inspector, sanitation Inspectors and the principals of all the participating schools.
