Expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that ahead of his visit to the State, the PM has given the gift of two major ropeway projects to Uttarakhand. He said that the Kedarnath and Hemkund sahib ropeways will be convenient for the pilgrims visiting these shrines.
Dhami said that he had requested the PM for approving the construction of these two ropeways during his recent visit. He said that PM Modi has a special affinity towards Uttarakhand and under his guidance the State is on the path of being included into the category of the developed States.
Dhami said that under PM the union government is providing assistance to the State in every field. He said that work of reconstruction of the Kedarnath is complete and work on the Badrinath master plan is going at a rapid pace. Dhami expressed confidence that the visit of the PM will give a major boost to the winter Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand.
